LOL me the baby? I think that goes to Ark, I'm older then most Mods, considering most of you are still young school pups.
However...they should let me do the banning Guru would be a tidier place and minus 25-30% of its members
Banning PvP scrubs would be 2nd only to some Ventari Sell users

1.) Responded to a help wanted ad.
a.) I jump on for a few minutes at a time several times a day and always try to respond to a reported post.
b.) I don't, by any means, feel like I have to fill out a time sheet or anything, but I start to worry if I have to miss a few days.
c.) Quite sincerly, I rather enjoy the forums, whether it be an Ad for losing 567 lbs in three days or an in depth discussion on the advanced game mechanics of the pre-sear bunny (numbers included).

1) Saw it in staff openings
a) I can spend anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours "banning"; modding is for the non-italics!
b) See who was bad each day and give them time off. Then casual browsing around and dealing with whatever pops off. Only ever felt a commitment for the first little while and now it's been well over a year.
c) Sick of it? Nah, look at all those gray names each day and know you are responsible for most of them. I just wish the whine threads had the same kind of drama as some PvP forums.
2) I think there was before?
3) Custom title and free signature. <3 And you can dig up dirt>

1) Responded to a help wanted ad. (I originally volunteered for Elementalist subforum, btw, but I got the whole of Campfire. =P)
a) Depends on the day. Varies from none to twelve hours.
b) I did, but Guild Wars got boring, therefore not as much anymore. The only actual reason Guild Wars got boring was because I don't GvG enough though.
c) Yes. Definitely. Not everyone, though. I'm glad I'm not Riverside. Campfire is bad enough...I have to make a plausible response at those who try to push crap onto other people. Plus the influx of stupid posters some time ago put me off. At least get Ensign clones to clean them up...
I'm getting worse at modding.
2) Because...I don't know.
3) Being able to brag about it when you first get the position.

1) I had the audacity to sound interested in the position and an admin toyed with my user settings....
a) Usually about an hour, but I hang around lurking a lot, so when something pops up, I handle it when I see it.
b) Somewhat. I don't feel I have to put in a certain amount of time.
c) Sometimes.
2) Because even the mods have completely different play styles, login times and countries of origin.
3) Racthoh said it best...

Let's try the music question again, since it didn't last long before:
What type of music are the mods into? (list examples)
Personally, I'm really into Progressive Rock. Some groups I like are Rush, Yes, Boston, Dream Theater, DragonForce, and even some of the newer prog inspired groups like Coheed & Cambria and Muse.

@Malice - RAP? Rap is the equivalent of medieval political commentary (Ring Around A Rosy, London Bridge) without the rhyming structure.
At least you like Rock.

Mushroomhead, cradle of filth, and lamb of god are my favorites at the time, although i really do like the heavy metal/orcastra type music in gothic metal. Now i just need to find a goth metal band with male AND female vocals, not just 1 or the other
